Projects:

Here are some of my most recent projects!

CoExpense

Android Development: Kotlin, Java

CoExpense is an android app that does calculations on basic domestic bill-sharing. Roommates can enter in their respective costs for the month (i.e. rent, electric, subscription services etc.) and CoExpense will calculate your share of the bills. Users can enter in a unique number of bill-sharers to each month based on needs.

Headstarter AI Bot

Web Application Design: Next.js, React, OpenAI, Vercel, Streaming

Immitation is the most sincerest form of flattery!
For Project #3 of the Headstarter AI fellowship, we were asked to create a Next.js customer servcie bot and host it using Vercel. My group opted to design this as if it were hosted directly on Headstarter AI's webpage and borrowed UX / UI thematics directly from it! This bot offers not only emotional support on your learning material, but using OpenAI can assist with basic troubleshooting as well!

Turtle Games

Python: Turtle module

In a 2023 summer self-motivational discovery period, I decided to work through 100 Days of Python:
The module for this particular week of postings was: Turtle Graphics. The goals were to develop playable instances of the follwing games:
  • Turtle Crossings (a take on Frogger)
  • Snake
  • Pong

|s|h|e|l|f|aware

Webpage Development: Next.js, React, Material UI, Firebase, Vercel

Our second project with the Headstarter AI fellowship, shelfaware is a pantry management application. The tech stack was mostly new to me but I feel like I was able to really flex my "coding-muscles" (so to speak) and make something I was truly proud of!

Once: A Storybook Spectacular

Assoc. Fountains Design:
GrandMA Programming, MIDI timecode, TCP/IP networking, sACN, ArtNet

During the pandemic, I received a call to participate in a theme park spectacular in Vietnam. We had to get special permission from the Vietnamese Government to demonstrate our expertise in our fields to participate as very limited international travel was permissiable during this time. In collaboration with Martin Aquatic and Quantum Creative Studios we developed Once: A Storybook Spectacular.

CineSpeak

Android Development: Kotlin, Java

CineSpeak was our final project for CodePath's AND101 course. We developed a language-learning reinforcement application that users could use find movies they loved in languages they were learning. Our application included a recycler view that was built on the TMDB's API in which found available movies in user-selected languages with subtitles.
